Many years before Laura Numeroff's "If You Give a..." series,Robert Quakenbush authored an adorable, hilarious tale of a duck named Henry, who invited his friend Clara over for supper. As Henry prepared supper, he discovered an ant had taken up residence in his kitchen. Oh dear! What would Henry do? Well, of course, he must exterminate the ant no matter what, much to the downfal of his cozy home. Panic and hilarity ensues as Henry does everything possible to exterminate the poor ant. Naturall, I don't want to give you any spoilers, so to find out what happens in the end, you will need to read this book for yourself.

Many children have grown up reading and loving Quakenbush's classic story. Now, with the release of a 25th anniversary edition, children of all ages can discover and rediscover just what makes "Henry's Awful Mistake" one of America's best-loved and most read picture books, so incredible. No shelf is complete without a copy of this enchanting tale.
